Broken is a single-player first-person RPG that takes players on a mystical journey across a variety of unique environments. However, there is a deeper tale to be told, and users will become immersed in an intriguing plot as they progress. This game is said to support virtual reality headsets, and it features extremely rich graphics and audio effects.

The Broken RPG shares some in-game exploration elements with other role-playing platforms, such as Inside the Backrooms. However, extremely detailed graphics provide an additional level of realism, but there is no multiplayer option available.

Set within the confines of a mysterious island

Broken takes place on an isolated island with numerous areas to unlock and discover. As the player travels further, he or she will begin to put together the pieces of a decidedly surreal story.

More than a nature exploration game

While a fair amount of resource farming is required, Broken offers a unique plot twist due to the fact that users will also have to explore an alien spacecraft as well as mysterious underground bunkers, adding yet another dimension to the overall storyline.

Broken should appeal to players who enjoy solving open-world puzzles and gathering what the developers have termed as "lore" as they progress. In-game subtitles are intended to provide a bit of much-needed guidance on occasion.

Another powerful undertone associated with Broken involves the numerous surprises that occur as players delve deeper into the confines of the island. In some ways, this game can be compared to other platforms, including Outer Wilds, due to its strong emphasis on investigation and deduction.
